Frequently Asked Questions
Do you accept insurance?
Intempo Psychiatry is an out-of-network practice, which means we do not accept insurance directly. However, we can provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. It is best to check with your insurance provider to understand your out-of-network benefits.
What are your fees for services?
Our fees vary based on the type and duration of service provided. During the initial consultation, we will discuss your specific needs and provide a detailed breakdown of the costs. For more information, please access our fee schedule.
How do I submit a superbill for insurance reimbursement?
After your session, we will provide you with a superbill — a detailed receipt of the services rendered. You can submit this directly to your insurance provider for reimbursement. It is important to contact your insurance company to clarify their process and what percentage they will cover. Please keep in mind that not all services may be eligible for reimbursement, so confirming your benefits prior to your visit is advisable. This way, you can better understand your financial responsibility and make informed decisions about your care.
Do you offer virtual appointments?
Intempo Psychiatry offers both in-person and virtual (video) appointments. We understand the importance of flexibility and accessibility in today’s fast-paced world, and our virtual appointments allow you to receive the care you need from the comfort of your home. Whether you prefer visiting us in-office or engaging with us online, we are committed to providing you with effective and tailored psychiatric care that fits seamlessly into your lifestyle.
How do I schedule a FREE Phone Consultation?

How do I schedule an appointment?
All appointment scheduling can be completed in office or through your patient portal. You must be a patient of Intempo Psychiatry to schedule an appointment.
What conditions do you treat?
Intempo Psychiatry specializes in treating the full spectrum of psychiatric illness, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, psychosis, OCD, PTSD, and more.
How do you approach treatment?
At Intempo Psychiatry, we prioritize a comprehensive approach to your mental health. Our focus extends beyond just managing symptoms; we aim to foster overall well-being through tailored strategies that encompass both medication and psychotherapy. By delving into the unique aspects of your life and health, we create a treatment plan that aligns with your goals and individual circumstances. Our commitment is to ensure that each aspect of your care reflects your needs, allowing you to get back to your normal self as soon as possible.
How long does treatment usually last?
The length of treatment varies depending on each individual’s needs. Some patients may benefit from short-term care, while others may require longer-term support. During your initial consultation, we will discuss your treatment goals and develop a plan that works for you.
What age groups do you treat?
We provide treatment for adults aged 18 to 65.
Do you offer psychedelic treatment?
Intempo Psychiatry does not offer psychedelic treatments at this time. This is primarily due to the current legal status of psychedelic compounds in Illinois. However, we plan on integrating them into practice pending FDA approval and DEA rescheduling. Be sure to stay tuned for more!
