He completed his psychiatry training at Rush University, where he served as the executive chief resident and earned accolades such as Emergency Medicine Consultant of the Year and Moonlighter of the Year. His expertise spans the full spectrum of psychiatric illnesses. He believes in blending evidenced-based psychopharmacological treatments with targeted psychotherapy approaches to create personalized treatment plans that cater to the unique mental health needs of his patients.

    In addition to clinical practice, Dr. McCall is actively involved in groundbreaking clinical trials, exploring the efficacy of cutting-edge treatments, including psychedelics like psilocybin for treatment-resistant depression. He has a keen interest in the potential applications of psychedelics for a wide variety of psychiatric disorders and plans on integrating them into practice, pending FDA approval.

    When not practicing psychiatry, Dr. McCall enjoys watching and attending NBA games, collecting vinyl and sneakers, running along the lakefront, playing the saxophone, and exploring Chicago’s vibrant food scene.
